Finance Business Partner – Group Functions

The Finance Business Partner – Group Functions role provides finance support across various Group Functions to deliver commercial insight, improve understanding of costs and help produce/manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts. The role also aims to facilitate decision making at all levels, keep costs under control and contribute to continuous improvement across reporting and business processes.
How will I help?
- Provide monthly management reporting and insights to stakeholders at all levels
- Oversee the delivery of accurate and complete financial results, including overseeing month end close
- Improve financial acumen of business stakeholders and present information in a way to facilitate and influence decision making at all levels
- Support the delivery of budgets as part of the 3-year annual planning process - includes leading the collation, analysis and presentation of information as well as managing the accurate submission into the finance system
- regular rolling forecasts and leverage knowledge and relationships to proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Contribute to the development and assessment of business cases and financial models
- Review and challenge existing processes to drive continuous improvement and efficiency
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders including a strong understanding of key activities and drivers
- Educate non-financial stakeholders in managing and delivering financial targets as well as driving improved financial maturity for financial hygiene and ownership of costs
- Support cost saving initiatives and ensure cost saving targets are achieved

What do I need?
To succeed in this role, you will be a degree-qualified finance professional with a strong background in accounting or a related field, and ideally hold a CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification. You will have extensive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Management Accounting, with a proven track record of partnering with senior stakeholders to drive business performance. Your technical expertise in accounting, reporting, budgeting, and planning will be critical, and your ability to navigate complex financial landscapes will set you apart.
We are seeking someone who is well-organised, outcome-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You should have a history of building trusted, commercial relationships and influencing senior leaders while managing challenging conversations when necessary. A keen eye for detail, hands-on involvement, and the ability to drive timely outcomes in uncertain and complex situations are essential.
