The Head of Finance – Technology is a highly visible financial and commercial Finance Business Partner role to the Chief Information Office and Technology team. The role will lead the build and delivery of the three year strategic plan for Technology.

How will I help?

  • Partner with the Chief Information Officer and Technology Leadership Team, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Drive performance across both the Functional Technology Budgets and Technology Project delivery.
  • Foster a high-performance and engaging culture within the Technology Finance team (6 FTE).
  • Provide valuable insights to technology stakeholders to enhance commercial delivery.
  • Offer commercial finance support for technology initiatives, including business case development and commercial modelling.
  • Drive towards a single enterprise view of Technology, as well as optimising cross charging methodologies.
  • Embed a continuous cost optimisation culture. 
  • Implement process optimisation and reporting automation opportunities.

What do I need?

To succeed in this role, you will have a degree in Finance or a related field, along with a professional qualification such as CA or CPA. With extensive experience in Commercial Finance, you will also have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performance teams. 

Experience partnering with technology or digital stakeholders is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical, as you will be required to clearly articulate complex financial and technological information to non-financial stakeholders.
