The Finance Business Partner – Mental Health will assist with the delivery of the reporting and planning function across the Mental Health business. In addition to delivering monthly results, commentary, and forecasts, you will support in providing analytical support and commercial advice across business operations and projects.

How will I help?

  • Responsible for month end close and the preparation of all related monthly requirements relating to the Mental Health business
  • Primary deliverables will include the delivery of month end processes, as well as owning the profit & loss reporting, dashboards, and commentary and any additional ad hoc tasks
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for Mental Health clinics, covering the 3-Year Plan (3YP), BPC, QBR, and BEF submissions
  • Partner with operations to develop appropriate annual Mental Health Plan P&L for review by the business
  • Own the Mental Health monthly P&L process and share insights or analysis with the operations team
  • Responsible for all daily and weekly reporting relating to the Mental Health Clinics business
  • Support efficiencies and streamlining of the forecasting & budgeting process
  • Drive efficiencies and streamline forecasting and budgeting processes, focusing on continuous improvement including maintain and enhancement of the existing Excel commercial model for Mental Health Clinics, initially developed by EY
  • Complete month end project reporting and forecasts working with the key stakeholders and project managers
  • Completion of business cases, finance support of projects, post implementation reviews and other ad hoc modelling requests for review by the Senior Finance Manager Health Centres
  • Continuous improvement and automation of reporting to drive efficiencies.

What do I need?

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and a postgraduate or professional qualification such as CA or CPA. Experience in a commercial/ financial business partnering role with ability to collaborate and influence effectively is key in this role. Your strong attention to detail and analytical mindset will be key to solving complex business problems and supporting data-driven decisions. You’ll demonstrate sound commercial judgment, with a clear instinct for identifying key business drivers and the questions that matter most.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you’ll need to simplify and convey financial concepts to a wide range of stakeholders. Technically, you will have a strong foundation in accounting, budgeting, reporting, and planning, underpinned by advanced Excel skills. You’ll also be confident in translating data into meaningful insights that influence decision-making at multiple levels of the organisation.
