The purpose of the First Nations Retention Partner is to support the Head of First Nations Strategy in delivering Bupa’s retention, wellbeing, and career development initiatives for First Nations employees. This role plays a pivotal part in strengthening belonging, advocacy, and sustainable career pathways across the organisation. Through the implementation of strategic programs, you will ensure First Nations employees are supported and empowered throughout their career journey at Bupa.
You may come from a healthcare background, bringing experience in clinical education, mentoring, or supporting wellbeing initiatives, or you might have corporate expertise in areas such as employee retention, career development, and inclusion programs.
A 12-month fixed-term opportunity, preferably based in Melbourne or Sydney, with hybrid working options.
This is an identified position for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. What you’ll need to make it possible
- This is an identified position for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Demonstrated experience in employee engagement, wellbeing or HR, preferably within a First Nations context, or experience working in healthcare.
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and contemporary issues impacting employment and wellbeing.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and provide culturally informed support to employees and teams.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to lead engagement activities and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with data tracking and reporting to measure program outcomes and continuous improvement.
