Opportunity Snapshot:
Lead Engineer- Cloud DevOps is responsible for handling DevOps related activities (including test, build and release infrastructure) for multiple projects which are implemented to production system and maintain robust stable Cloud hosting Container platform for application environments. This will include designing and implementing processes and tools to support continuous integration, delivery, and testing. The Lead Engineer will be a proponent for good software engineering standards and practices. The candidate will also review existing processes and make recommendations & implement software process improvements going forward based on SDLC/ALM standards. The candidate will have Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Azure, Kubernetes, and SCRUM experience and/or certifications.

Qualifications and training
- CI/CD Continuous Integration, Delivery and DevOps experience in – Microsoft Technologies, Azure DevOps
- Extensive Experience with Azure Cloud and familiarity using Azure RBAC for authorization.
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) for Azure resource provisioning preferably with Terraform.
- In depth knowledge of .Net Frameworks, dotnet cli and configuration management in .Net core.
- Experience in Microservice Architecture, REST API’s and using Azure functions for Event-Driven Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with containerized Docker application lifecycle with Microsoft platform and tools (Docker, Container registries, Kubernetes and Helm).
- Experience with API management and security preferably with Azure APIM and JWT token-based Authorization.
- Sound Knowledge in security best practices and tooling around containerized application life cycle and familiarity with Policy as Code.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools in Microsoft platform (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application insights etc)
- Automation for build and release management - automate and streamline operations and processes.
- Software development and Configuration management automation,
- Scripting Skills (PowerShell, Shell and Python)
- Solid commercial understanding and awareness
- Demonstrated success in managing internal stakeholders.
