The Opportunity

The Marketing Manager will work with minimal supervision to deliver a repeatable and scalable model for the marketing of Bupa aged care, collaborating with the Marketing Manager – Go To Market and the Digital Marketing Manager as well as Regional Manager and care home General Managers.

You’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing of marketing campaigns across multiple channels to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing budgets, analysing performance metrics, and continuously refining strategies to meet organisational goals. Also take ownership of the systems, process and procedures that support our care homes marketing activities (primarily how they order and manage collateral and marketing merchandise inventories.

This is a permanent full-time position, based in Melbourne office. Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home. 


How will I help?

You will add value by:

  • Developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels to achieve results spanning broader brand awareness and education through to lead generation
  • Managing the end-to-end campaign process, including creative development, media planning, execution, and post-campaign analysis
  • Ensuring creative reflects the needs of target markets and builds Bupa’s brand as the leading provider of residential aged care in Australia
  • Collaborating with the agency partners, marketing & CX team; care home managers and regional managers, and Customer Concierge team to ensure campaign alignment with overall business objectives
  • Monitoring campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
  • Overseeing the marketing campaign calendar and ensure timely delivery of all campaign activities
  • Managing budgets and ensure campaigns are executed within financial constraints.
  • Staying current with industry trends and best practices to innovate and improve campaign effectiveness 
  • Collaborating with the External Communications team to leverage advertising spend into local media opportunities where appropriate
  • Reporting on campaign performance to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for future strategies

What do I need?

  • Bachelors degree in Business preferably with a focus on marketing
  • At least 6 years experience in marketing roles within complex services-based businesses (financial services; health, telecommunications, utilities etc)
  • Demonstrated success executing campaigns end to end for services businesses in highly regulated markets
  • Demonstrated success working with external media and creative agencies
  • Sound analytical skills with experience leveraging data from platforms like Google Analytics into actionable campaign insights
  • Excellent communication skills – able to articulate complex topics simply and with a view to action
  • Demonstrated experience with local area marketing
  • Strong copy writing, editing and proofing skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent stakeholder management
