About the Role

The Operations Support Consultant role is a fixed-term, part-time opportunity responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative and processing support to the Central Operations Team, ensuring the seamless operation of BUPA visa medicals. You will be a key point of contact for managing correspondence, coordinating appointments, and processing documentation in line with established guidelines. Your ability to provide responsive and accurate support to visa applicants, internal teams, and external stakeholders will be essential to maintaining service excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing email communications across a diverse range of visa medical services.
  • Processing pathology reports and medical assessments in accordance with BUPA guidelines.
  • Coordinating appointment bookings and handling refunds as needed.
  • Assisting visa applicants and stakeholders through the procedural requirements.
  • Supporting the contact centre in resolving complex customer queries; and
  • Providing end-to-end case management, including monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

You may also be required to perform additional duties as reasonably directed by BUPA from time to time.

To Excel in This Role
You’ll bring relevant qualifications, strong administrative experience, and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality service.

Key requirements include:

  • Certificate III qualification or equivalent experience/training.
  • Proven experience in administration and processing, with a track record of meeting SLAs and KPIs.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks within set policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and numerical skills.

Your attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities will set you up for success in this role.
