We’re on the lookout for an Organisational Development Lead – Leadership & Talent to join on a 12-month fixed term contract, to grow and evolve our next chapter with us.

Forming part of the Leadership and Talent team, this role will play a lead role to develop, shape, and deliver a range of leadership and talent initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development, you will bring expertise in the leadership and talent development, and champion organisational development at Bupa Asia Pacific.

This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane with hybrid work arrangements available. Please note some interstate travel may be required.

How will I help?

Key accountabilities include:

  • Design and delivery of leadership and talent development experiences for leaders and enterprise talent groups, and internal communication initiatives to support alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Creating the leadership and talent approaches and processes that are fit-for-Bupa to drive performance and engagement.
  • Project management end-to-end of leadership and OD programs, based on best practices development principles.
  • Reviewing and continuous improvement of digital learning, including optimisation of our leadership learning solution.
  • Partner with external providers to create leadership and talent experiences, and facilitation when required.
  • Central role in shaping a culture of leadership and talent learning excellence and capability uplift, work that directly enable both people and business outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with members of the broader OD and People teams, to align and co-create across different OD portfolios; utilising change management methodology to engage, communicate, educate, and embed sustainable solutions.
  • Provide analysis and insights for leadership and talent capabilities reporting.
  • Provide thoughts leadership to shape enterprise leaders approach and experiences for our talent groups.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience in leadership and talent, or OD role, where you have led programs and delivery.
  • A track record of building and embedding development and capability frameworks, delivering large-scale initiatives. You love all aspects of managing an end-to-end process from scoping, collaborating with system SMEs and vendors, developing communications, developing toolkits, delivering workshops, to managing budget, and working to a plan.
  • The ability to consult, partner, and problem-solve with senior leaders and a range of internal stakeholders, working collaboratively across People and functional teams.
  • Practical experiences in OD and learning, including leadership development and talent management.
  • Strong digital learning proficiency, including design and content development.
  • Excitement to get things done; organised, proactive, able to prioritise, have high attention to detail to deliver work that matters.
  • Driven by values to create meaningful development experiences and career mobility.
  • Skills in agile and flexible ways of working to get work done.
  • Qualifications in Human Resources Management, Organisational Psychology, Education, Health or Change Management
