We’re have a new Program Manager role available within our Data Governance Team, where you’ll be partnering with business leaders and technology teams to deliver high quality, senior level program management services at pace to drive strategic outcomes for our customers.

The Opportunity   

We’re looking for a delivery focussed leader possessing strong organisational, presentation and communication skills. You’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of large programs of work (circa $5m plus), consisting of multiple strategic change projects which are likely to be complex and cross functional in nature and encompass both business and technical systems change.

You’ll have responsibility and management oversight for the entire program delivery and direction of Project Managers within the program and will also be expected to undertake direct project management activities when needed.

This is a 12-month Contract (on a Day rate).

You can work from either Victoria, New South Wales or Queensland with offices conveniently located in the Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane CBDs. Plus, you'll have the flexibility to work from home or from one of these office spaces.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:

  • 10+ years Project Management experience, including a minimum 5 years as a Senior Project Manager.
  • Experience running large complex programs (circa $5M+) with up to 40+ indirect reports; high complexity requirements and multiple internal and external project dependencies.
  • Extremely strong stakeholder management, engagement, and presentation skills up to an executive level.
  • Expert program and project management knowledge.
  • Technical resource engagement and direction skills.

How will I help?

You will add value by:

  • Engaging business leaders and developing effective stakeholder relationships to understand and agree on the business and customer needs and facilitate successful program outcomes that meet those needs.
  • Delivering all agreed program scope and dependant projects within required timeframe, cost & quality constraints.
  • Where the Program is not yet underway, working closely with the Sponsor and/or Business Executive to initiate the program and its component parts.
  • Ensuring adequate business analysis is done to establish scope and mandatory requirements for component projects.
  • Establishing and monitoring appropriate program governance for each project within the program and ensuring alignment with the Portfolio governance and reporting framework.
  • Establishing/having oversight of all associated project resource plans and schedules.
  • Mentoring and leading Senior Project Managers, Lead Business Analysts, and guiding & influencing business executive Sponsors, as required.
  • Clearly and regularly communicating with key stakeholders and ensuring the Program Sponsor is comfortable and confident that the program is on track and achieving success.
  • Ensuring that adequate risk & issue management protocols are maintained across the entire Program.
