We have an exciting new role in our Medical Health Services team for an experienced Project Manager to support and work with the business. As part of the Medical Technology Team, this role will partner closely with business leaders and technology teams to deliver high quality project management services at pace to drive strategic outcomes for our customers.
We are looking for a Project Manager who has experience in the following:
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently – ie. 1 large and 2 medium sized complexity etc
- Experience in delivering application and infrastructure projects (acquisitions, Greenfields), data migrations, application lifecycle mgmt., along with infrastructure
- Ability to engage with and manage Senior stakeholders, members of leadership teams – able to converse succinctly, on-point and articulate the so-what and why
- Capable of mentoring (informally) Project Managers, to demonstrate what good looks like – strategic alignment, governance, reporting, thought and technical leadership
The Project Manager is a delivery focussed leader possessing strong organisational, presentation and communication skills. This role is responsible for the successful delivery of medium to large (circa $1m to $3m) strategic change projects and may be required to manage multiple projects
Requirements / Experience for the role:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Project Manager role, managing medium to large projects (circa $1M - $3M) with high levels of complexity, multiple dependencies and with up to 10 - 20+ indirect reports
- Experience in leading change management projects • Demonstrated experience in project status reporting, scheduling, dependency management and milestone tracking techniques, financial / budget management and risk management
- Proven track record negotiating successful outcomes with Sponsors, Project Managers and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes at a senior level
- Proven expertise in managing multiple stakeholders and technology teams
- Experience running RFPs/RFIs
- Experience at managing vendor relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent report writing skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive effective solutions and deliver business outcomes
- Experience in Agile project delivery (and knowing when and how to best use it)
- Expert knowledge using and interpreting Microsoft Project (or another scheduling tool) and agile delivery tools (e.g. Azure Dev Ops, Confluence) is essential
- Strong understanding of SAFe (e.g. PI planning), DevOps and SDLC
