About the role:
Based from either Sydney or Melbourne and reporting to the Regional Manager, our Roving Care Manager(s) are required to fill short term vacant Care Manager roles to effectively lead and manage the delivery of person-centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance. The Roving CM will be required to hold IPC Lead qualification. The IPC is the dedicated expert responsible to support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of infection prevention and control policies, procedures and practices within the homes. Care Managers are also key role models, demonstrating the Bupa Values.

You will support the General Managers in managing and leading the delivery of person-centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance, helping them to live longer, healthier, and happier lives.

As our Care Manager, you will work as part of a team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals. You will support the General Manager(s) in managing and leading the delivery of person-centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance, helping them to live longer, healthier, and happier lives.
The Roving Care Manager role will be offered as a permanent, full-time position to oversee and support the clinical operations of Bupa Homes. We are inviting applications from experienced onshore candidates with valid rights to work in Australia and the flexibility to travel across Bupa Homes.
Duties include:
- Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home
- Support and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and education
- Review clinical incidents, complaints, and changes
- Lead compliance with AN ACC assessments
- Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carers
- Prepare and conduct clinical governance audits
- Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements
- Liaise with allied health, medical practitioners, and other services to provide optimal resident care

What will you bring?
- Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA is essential
- Post grad qualification in aged care highly regarded
- Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds
- Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute setting
- Excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities
- Highly effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
