About the Home
The charming Bupa Rangeville is a modern care home nestled in the quiet suburb of Rangeville, Toowoomba with peaceful views over Garnett Lehmann Park. We offer a dedicated team for each of our four communities, including two communities for people living with dementia. It consists of 108 beds, a with various care units such as dementia, respite, and palliative. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About the Role
As a Cook at one of our care homes you will provide well-presented and nutritious meals in a home like environment. Your passion for food along with your person-first approach will make a real difference to the life of our residents. We are looking for someone who will cover the week-end cook shifts and some hospitality shifts during the week.
Duties
- Plan and prepare well balanced and nutritious meals for our residents
- Liaise with residents, families, and the care team to ensure residents’ dietary, individual and cultural needs are met
- Support the efficient functioning of kitchen and catering services
- Comply with all infection control and food safety procedures
- Perform administrative duties related to the kitchen operation such as stock taking, and food quality assessment
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in the preparation and delivery of meals within a similar environment
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to solve problems independently
