About the Role:
As the General Manager of our Bupa Seaforth care home, you will lead a dynamic and passionate team committed to delivering exceptional care. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that our residents experience the highest standards of care, all while fostering an atmosphere of comfort and well-being within our beautiful beachside location.
You will play a key role in setting the tone for our home’s culture, guiding the professional development of staff, and maintaining a strong focus on business performance. You will also be entrusted with championing our unique Bupa Model of Care, with the support of a world-class leadership team and continuous training and resources to empower you in making a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations with operational excellence.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure the highest standards of care and safety.
- Drive financial performance and budget management.
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent.
- Foster a positive work culture through training, development, and succession planning.
- Optimize occupancy management, staffing rosters, and resident satisfaction.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maintain quality relationships.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven leadership experience within a residential aged care setting.
- Expertise in managing operations with a focus on excellence and efficiency.
- Passion for developing and empowering people to reach their full potential.
- Strong understanding of service improvement, workplace health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and emotional intelligence, enabling you to connect with both residents and staff.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and outcomes.
- (Desirable) Postgraduate qualification in Health Management, Aged Care, or a related field.
