The Heart of the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for General Practice to build on their previous experience and be part of a growing health community. In this casual role, you'll have the opportunity to work every Friday, providing comprehensive patient care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

In this Role, You Will:

  • Manage and comply with relevant Infection Prevention & Control Guidelines
  • Take primary responsibility for cold chain management
  • Maintain accurate documentation and manage recall/reminder systems, data, and clinical software
  • Manage inventory and ordering of medical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels
  • Deliver continuous quality improvement activities and initiatives through the review of systems and procedures to ensure efficient and accessible care
  • Provide top-notch patient care, including vaccinations, wound care, infusions, and health assessments
  • Assist in chronic disease management and deliver patient education
  • Drive chronic disease management

What Will You Bring?

  • Current AHPRA registration plus WWCC Check
  • Previous experience in general practice or primary care is highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills with a patient-focused approach
  • Proficiency in performing general practice nurse duties, including immunizations, procedure assistance, wound care, and stock checking
    Nurse immuniser qualified
  • Experience with all types of Care Plans and Health Assessments, showcasing leadership in chronic disease management processes
    Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
  • Experience with Best Practice software or similar is an advantage
