In this role, you’ll be leading and driving the automation test frameworks from strategy through to implementation in projects/programs within BUPA Technology. You will be adhering to and implementing the mission’s goals, standards, and test processes that have been established for BUPA Australia’s (ALM) Application Life Cycle Management.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:
- Have experience using Microsoft Playwright & Sitecore.
- Have a minimum 4 years’ experience in working with multiple stakeholders including testing services, enterprise project services and delivery units.
- Have extensive experience in ASP.NET/C#, XML, SOAP, SAML, SQL Server, Visual Studio and Azure DevOps stack.
- Have a good understanding of branching strategies and GitHub.
- Have demonstrated the ability to produce high quality code, undertake code reviews and provide feedback to the other developers in a previous role.
- Be experienced in developing test automation frameworks using Selenium and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Be competent with Azure DevOps for test planning, execution, automation, orchestration of pipelines and reporting.
- Be experienced in SQL, UML, SCRUM.
- Be able to define and implement best-practice unit, contract, integration, API and UI automation testing strategies in a CI/CD Environment with a strong focus on high value, risk based testing and fast feedback throughout the Build Pipeline.
This is a 12-month Fixed term role and can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney.
We offer hybrid work arrangements, so you can choose to work from one of our offices in any of these locations or work from home.
How will I help?
You will add value by:
- Developing and maintaining the overall automation test strategy for projects/programs ensuring that the most effective and efficient testing is carried out.
- Evaluating the technical and business requirements and producing comprehensive test plans and test estimates in alignment with the automation framework.
- Leading all the automation testing activities, facilitating all communication to project stakeholders to ensure testing activities are completed within the given schedule and budget and any blockers are resolved.
- Participating in and pro-actively looking for test process improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring that test environment requirements are clearly defined. Also, all test environments are managed effectively and are kept up to date with code base.
