The Opportunity

Are you passionate about lifting care standards and making a real impact in aged care? As a Compliance Consultant with Bupa, you’ll help ensure our homes deliver safe, high‑quality, resident‑centred care every day. Reporting to the Compliance & Accreditation Manager, you’ll partner closely with leaders across our homes to measure, monitor, and continually improve the safety and quality of our clinical services.

You’ll also play an important role in supporting our homes to confidently respond to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and maintain ongoing registration readiness.

This is a role with genuine purpose—your work will directly influence the quality of life and health outcomes of our residents. You’ll be joining a trusted organisation with strong frameworks, supportive leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement. At Bupa, what you do matters, and you’ll have the backing of an organisation that values your expertise and passion.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Partner with the Compliance & Accreditation Manager to monitor, assess, and uplift the safety and quality of clinical services across our homes.
  • Support managers to respond to Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission requests and maintain year‑round registration readiness.
  • Lead and drive compliance activities and performance monitoring to meet (and exceed!) registration standards.
  • Work collaboratively with leaders and teams to embed best practice and bring the Bupa Promise of exceptional care to life.
  • Help shape and elevate the quality of Bupa’s clinical services, contributing to clinical excellence and better health outcomes for residents.

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as a Bachelor of Nursing.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience in clinical safety, quality, compliance, or assurance—and a genuine passion for delivering excellence in care.
  • Exceptional communication skills that help you influence, educate, and build trust at all levels.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to partner effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent time‑management capabilities and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Confidence in data management and clinical analysis, with the ability to use insights to drive improvement.
  • Solid knowledge of aged care regulations, accreditation processes, and industry requirements.
  • Experience developing policies, procedures, or risk management frameworks.
  • A continuous improvement mindset—you simplify processes, challenge assumptions, and always look for better ways of working.

At Bupa your wellbeing, identity, and personal story are respected and valued. We are continuing to build teams that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. Bupa is committed to providing equal opportunities and fostering a workplace and environment that is free of discrimination, bullying and harassment.
