The Opportunity:

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a real difference in people’s lives? In this dynamic role, you’ll support both existing and future Bupa members—working across university campuses, in our Bupa office, and from the comfort of your home.

You'll primarily engage with overseas and domestic students, as well as university staff, helping them navigate their health cover needs while promoting Bupa’s range of health and care solutions. This role is a great opportunity to build meaningful relationships, identify new opportunities, and play a key part in growing Bupa’s positive impact within the education sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key representative of Bupa on campus, you'll play an important role in supporting our partner institutions and helping students access the health cover they need. Here’s what you can look forward to in this role:

  • Be the friendly and professional face of Bupa at our partner universities, providing a welcoming and helpful experience for all
  • Share the value of Bupa’s products, confidently promoting features and benefits to drive engagement and grow revenue
  • Take pride in resolving customer enquiries quickly and effectively—aiming for first-contact resolution every time
  • Get involved in exciting on-campus events like orientations, pop-up kiosks, and health & wellness activations
  • Support students through multiple channels including phone, email, and digital platforms
  • Act as a Bupa ambassador, strengthening our presence and reputation within the education sector
  • Help students switch their Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) to Bupa
  • Introduce students and staff to additional Bupa services such as extras cover, overseas visitors cover, and domestic health insurance
  • Track and report on the outcomes of your on-campus activities and weekly tasks
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Work independently across multiple sites and from home when needed
  • And of course, pitch in with other responsibilities as assigned by the National Manager, On-Campus Partnerships

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about helping others and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. If you enjoy connecting with diverse communities and making a positive impact, this could be the perfect role for you!

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in sales and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Flexibility to work across multiple campuses and adapt to changing schedules
  • A self-starter mindset with strong time management and the ability to work independently
  • A good head for business and an understanding of commercial priorities
  • The ability to stay focused and perform well under pressure from multiple channels
  • Some knowledge of the Australian health insurance industry (a bonus but not essential)
  • An understanding of the international student journey or experience in the education sector — having been an international student yourself is a big plus!
  • Confidence in presenting to groups, whether it’s at events or information sessions
  • Great communication skills and the ability to engage a wide range of people
  • Fluency in other languages is a valuable asset and warmly welcomed
