Payroll Officer

The opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our People team! In this role, you will manage the timely and efficient payroll process and provide exceptional customer service to our leaders and employees.
Bringing your previous Payroll and iChris experience, you will have a proactive approach with an ability to focus on results and outcomes.

You can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane with hybrid work arrangements.
How will I help?
Key accountabilities include:
- Processing fortnightly payroll
- Updating employee details in iChris
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and legislative requirements
- Maintaining data integrity of the database at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service to all our leaders and employees and resolve all queries in a timely manner
- Be the first point of contact for all payroll related queries
- Ensure all queries or issues are logged, actioned promptly and appropriately resolved
- Provide guidance and assistance to employees with regards to timesheets and Workday

What do I need?
- Previous experience in a similar Payroll Officer role
- Previous experience using iChris
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- High-level attention to detail
- Strong customer service focus
- A proactive approach with an ability to focus on results and outcomes
