The purpose of this job is…..
In this 12 month FTC - under the supervision of the Lead Reporting & Insights Analyst, working with Health Services customers/stakeholders – you will deliver accurate, timely, and actionable reporting and insights that support Health Services’ operational, commercial, and clinical decision-making. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to understand their priorities, translate data into meaningful insights, and contribute to the uplift of analytics capability across the organisation through high-quality reporting, predictive analytics, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:
- Deliver accurate, timely, and fit-for-purpose operational, commercial, and contractual reporting for Health Services.
- Build and maintain Power BI and other BI assets (e.g. Excel, SAS) that provide clear, actionable insights.
- Ensure data preparation, modelling, and transformation processes support high-quality reporting outputs.
- Troubleshoot technical problems within existing reporting.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and ad-hoc investigations to support business questions and drive decision-making.
- Contribute to the development of predictive or statistical models where required, ensuring methods are appropriate and well-documented.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into reporting and analytical solutions.
- Support adoption of analytics products through training, documentation, and proactive engagement.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain data quality, apply governance standards, and ensure secure and compliant handling of sensitive data.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- Demonstrated experience in data extraction, transformation, analysis, and developing high-quality and complex data visualisations using tools such as SQL and Power BI (Core).
- Strong capability in data modelling and quantitative analysis, with the ability to translate findings into clear business insights.
- Proficiency in at least one of Base SAS, R, Python, SQL (SSMS) or Power BI (DAX)
- Able to establish data quality, cleansing and validation techniques
- Experience working with relational databases and understanding of ETL concepts.
- Understanding of relational database attributes.
- Analytical thinker who excels at analysing business problems and developing data-oriented solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical groups.
- High attention to detail, proactive work style, and commitment to data quality and governance.
- Collaborative approach to work and thrives in a connected, innovative team culture.
- Comfortable working with sensitive data and will vigilantly maintain the integrity of the customers’ data.
