We have a new Senior Business Analyst role available in our Service Management Transformation team in Technology.  

The opportunity: 

You’ll be partnering closely with business representatives to deliver high quality Business Analysis services for complex initiatives to drive strategic outcomes for our customers.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst. 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, or integration of ServiceNow with third-party tools & platforms (e.g. Azure, PAM, Vulnerability Management etc.).
  • Experience leading and defining the analysis approach regardless of the complexity of a project/Agile product deliveries.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term role that can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, or Brisbane. 

We offer hybrid work arrangements, so you’ll have the flexibility to work from one of our offices in these locations or work from home. 

How will I help?

You will add value by:

  • Partnering closely with business initiative owners to develop a deep understanding of the challenges, pain points and areas of opportunity.
  • Planning, establishing and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
  • Working closely with the ServiceNow Architect to validate solution design and ensure alignment with platform best practices.
  • Conducting gap analyses and identify areas for process improvement, simplification, and automation.
  • Assist in defining test scenarios, supporting test execution, and validating results.
  • Creating Stories, support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT sessions to ensure quality and completeness of deliverables.
  • Developing current and future state process documentation.
  • Developing business requirement specifications (BRS) and functional requirement specification (FRS) documentation (as required/project specific) and utilising standard templates and guidelines.
  • Challenging and asking 'why' to provide the best solution for the business and our customers.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop clear and unambiguous product backlogs of work which deliver the outcomes needed by our business.
  • Working closely with the team to refine the backlog and ensure the team has a shared understanding of the content.
