We are conveniently located on Glenferrie Road in Malvern; we’re just about a 10-minute walk from Armadale train station, a 2-minute walk from a parking lot and street parking on Barkly Ave. We are positioned on a busy street full of restaurants, cafes, and shops!

The Heart of the role: 

• Coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
• Assist with overall financial performance of the practice in line with the approved budget
• Maintain sterilisation, infection control standards and stock control
• Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
• General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps
• Proactively marketing your practice to drive patient numbers
• Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff

What you'll bring: 

• Prior business and people management experience essential
• Proven track record of strong organisational skills, administrative and time management
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
• Understanding how to generate income and control costs
• Able to face into difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise
• Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients, and your practice team
• Experienced in comprehending and managing the P&L for the practice
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
• The ability to communicate proficiently in both English and Mandarin is highly desirable for this role
