Application Support Engineer- Sitecore

About the Role
- Responsible for the triage, analysis, design, coding and testing activities with an expectation of contributing to BAU support and development activities utilising your skills in Sitecore .Net, web front end technology.
- You are member of Digital Platforms team.
- You will be requested to work on support and enhancements for applications built using Sitecore .NET and web technologies to meet or exceed the business and customer expectations.
- You will be requested to contribute to development activities on Sitecore and .Net applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality .NET solutions aligned with business requirements
- Support application enhancements, defect fixes, and new feature development
- Provide rotational on-call support and manage production incidents end-to-end
- Perform after-hours maintenance tasks as needed
- Maintain clear documentation and generate support activity reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, incident management, network, business analysts)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in .NET or similar web technologies
- Proven track record in delivering web application projects, including system analysis, development, and testing
- Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, React, and jQuery
- Strong experience with Azure Cloud hosting platforms
- Familiarity with monitoring and supporting web applications
- Exposure to Sitecore CMS and Azure DevOps (preferred)
- Skilled in writing testable, high-quality code using design patterns and best practices
- Positive, flexible, and collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and big-picture thinking
