Bupa has been busy utilising AI in various ways, we are now upscaling our capability to provide the processes, products, capabilities, and governance to execute and support further AI adoption. Our team hosts, supports, develops, and lifecycle manages products utilising AI based technologies.

As part of expanding this capability we are hiring a Business Analyst to work with our Product Owner, Product Manager and Delivery Lead to join our team and progress a roadmap continuously maturing AI based capabilities, products, and tools.

The opportunity:

This role will partner closely with business and technical representatives to deliver high quality Business Analysis services for complex initiatives at pace to drive strategic outcomes.

You’ll be leading the analysis approach and providing analytical services on large complex initiatives, whilst also supporting other Business Analysts where required, and ensuring processes and requirements for strategic change initiatives are captured, documented, and successfully delivered.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:

• 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst. 
• Demonstrated experience working with Agile methodologies and ceremonies including Backlog Refinement, Daily Standups, Iteration/Release Planning, Showcases/Sprint Reviews.
• Experience with AI will be beneficial for this role but isn’t a requirement. 

This is a 12-month Fixed Term role based in Melbourne.

We offer hybrid work arrangements, so you’ll have the flexibility to work from our office in the Melbourne city or work from home. 

How will I help?

You will add value by:

• Partnering closely with business initiative owners to develop a deep understanding of the challenges, pain points and areas of opportunity.
• Planning, establishing, and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
• Conducting Cost/Benefit Analysis to support discovery and new business investment proposals.
• Developing current and future state process documentation.
• Developing business requirement specifications (BRS) and functional requirement specification (FRS) documentation (as required/project specific) and utilising standard templates and guidelines.
• Challenging and asking 'why' to provide the best solution for the business and our customers.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop clear and unambiguous product backlogs of work which deliver the outcomes needed by our business.
• Working with the team to define Epics, Features, User Stories, and tasks per business initiative at pace.
• Defining concise acceptance criteria which supports the delivery team and testers.
