The heart of the role:

As the Senior Strategic Communications & Go-To-Market Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategies to successfully launch, optimise and embed Bupa’s value propositions. Your expertise in integrated marketing and commercial strategy will ensure we effectively reach, engage, and retain customers while driving business growth.

This role requires a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who can bring together cross-functional teams, align stakeholders, and deliver customer-centric, data-driven GTM plans that enhance Bupa’s competitive position.

You will lead a team of GTM Managers, fostering a high-performance culture that delivers seamless cross-functional collaboration and measurable business impact. Additionally, you will play a key role in embedding best-practice GTM frameworks, creating playbooks, and enabling broader team capability development within Customer Engagement.

You will act as a strategic ambassador for Bupa’s HI Customer Value Proposition (CVP), ensuring its effective integration into Bupa’s product and service propositions. This includes defining key messages, shaping customer communication, and leading Bupa’s Message House framework to drive consistency and clarity across all customer touchpoint


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Lead the development of end-to-end GTM strategies to launch new products, services, and value propositions, ensuring alignment with Bupa’s growth, retention, and engagement objectives.
  • Design customer-focused, insight-led GTM plans that integrate marketing, product, digital, sales, and service teams.
  • Define clear KPIs and measurement frameworks to track GTM impact, ensuring plans are data-driven and continuously optimised.
  • Foster a high-performing and collaborative team culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support to the team, helping them solve challenges and drive results
  • Manage and prioritise team workload, ensuring efficient resource allocation and alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as the strategic ambassador for Bupa’s HI CVP, ensuring its effective integration into GTM strategies, product positioning and customer communications.
  • Oversee the execution of multi-channel GTM plans, ensuring seamless coordination between Marketing, Digital, Product, CX, Partnerships, and Frontline teams.
  • Create repeatable, scalable processes that ensure GTM execution is seamless, structured and easily adaptable for future initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product and Customer Experience teams to ensure CVP messaging is embedded in campaigns, initiatives, enablement tools and frontline engagement strategies.
  • Influence and collaborate with senior leaders to ensure GTM plans support broader business objectives.
  • Champion the voice of the customer, embedding insights into GTM planning and execution.


About You:


  • Proven experience (7+ years) in GTM strategy, marketing, or commercial leadership roles, ideally within healthcare, insurance, or a customer-centric industry.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams, with a track record of coaching and empowering high[1]performing individuals.
  • Strong expertise in developing GTM playbooks, frameworks and processes that drive efficiency and cross-team capability building.
  • A deep understanding of customer value proposition development, messaging framework and effective storytelling.
  • Experience leading organisation-wide message alignment initiatives such as Message House frameworks.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable results driven GTM plans.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams and engaging senior leaders.
  • A passion for data-driven decision making with experience using insights to refine strategies and improve performance.
  • A customer-first mindset, with a strong ability to leverage behavioural science to drive customer engagement and retention.
