Senior Contracts Governance Lead

An exciting and full-time (fixed term contract) opportunity has arisen for a Senior Contracts Governance Lead to join our team working across Bupa Dental and Bupa Medical
Reporting to Contracts Governance Manager you will be responsible for providing high level support in the ongoing expansion and profitable operation of the business through the effective management of contracts and correspondence with current and prospective clients. The occupant of this position also plays an important role in leading administrative management of the end-to-end contract life cycle and related governance activities.
Due to team growth, this role will work across both our Bupa Dental and Bupa Medical business. The Role will be a full-time 6-month fixed term contract to begin with the possibility of the role becoming permanent in the near future. This position is a hybrid position, working from home but access to our Melbourne head office as required.
What will your day look like:
Contract Administration:
- Lead the administrative activities related to the end-to-end FSA lifecycle process within BDC.
- Own DocuSign administration in facilitating contracts and business case documentation from creation through to completion.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy. Monitor business processes and ensure all matters relating to records are up to date, filed and accurately reflected.
- Own the Contract Management and Governance (CMG) team distribution groups and mailbox and best practice email and calendar management.
- Check and validate contractual and legal information.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in special projects and provide project coordination skills as required
Reporting function:
- Assist with data collation for various internal and external business reports.
- Coordinate and ensure all matters are raised and escalated as per process.
- Assist with coordinating escalation responses as required.
Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Consult and liaise with relevant stakeholders and/or internal business partners to obtain information and reports on time and to the satisfaction of the respective stakeholder.
- Prepare, manage and communicate stakeholder correspondence as required.
- Liaise on behalf of the CMG team and be the main contact point for matters relating to contracts internally.
- Respond promptly and courteously to stakeholder requests, collate and disseminate relevant information, resolve standard problems, escalate issues when required.
- Foster collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders that CMG team engages with.
What do I need?
- Experience in leading the administrative activities related to end-to-end contract lifecycle management.
- Previous experience as a para-legal will be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, including report writing.
- Experience developing and maintaining reporting and dashboards.
- Strong computer literacy in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Track record of achieving deadlines in a high volume, pressured environment with high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and take accountability for deliverables and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and resolve issues independently.
- Demonstrated ability to forge and maintain productive working relationships, including the ability to use influence to support collaboration.
- Well-developed communication skills, including writing of agendas, minutes and correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and to work in a changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and resolve issues independently.
