Be at the 💙 of growing your career

Our Registered Nurse Graduate Program will help you to play a greater role in making a real difference to our residents clinically and to their quality of life. You'll be at the very heart of our refreshingly different person-first commitment to care.

We'll encourage you to put our residents, their needs and their feelings at the heart of how you deliver clinical care. In our care homes, it’s this person-first focus that encourages real relationships with residents that makes it easier to provide better care.

Click the apply now button to explore Registered Nurse opportunities; all of our RN positions are available to graduates so please select the location you are interested in, or keep scrolling to learn more about the program and the care homes you could be working at.

Do you want to enrich the lives of residents and build a meaningful career?

The Registered Nurse Graduate Program provides a mentoring and supportive environment for you as a newly registered nurse to develop your skills and knowledge. You'll get plenty of opportunities to springboard your career and keep building your experience for further career development.

Over our 12-month program, you'll complete a 'Transition to Professional Practice' (TPP) program that combines formal learning alongside preceptorship and practical clinical placement rotations in one of Bupa's 50+ aged care homes across Queensland, NSW, Victoria or South Australia. Our program has specific focus on leadership with one quarter of the program dedicated to learning in this area. Not only will you grow, but you'll learn how to empower others to deliver best quality care.

"One of my best highlights in working at Bupa is my career growth. Bupa has helped me a lot in developing my clinical knowledge. Because back then, I used to work in a hospital and I used to think that you probably have to go to the hospital to learn more about clinical knowledge. But that's not the case, working in aged care, you also develop clinical knowledge. You will look after all the people and then you can make your own decision and they will support you with their work instruction from best practices."
