We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Performance and Reward Lead to join our Melbourne team on a permanent full-time basis. In this role, you will work across the People Team providing business partnering to Line Management across APAC, using technical and professional skills/knowledge, to build and implement Reward and Benefits solutions in line with business strategy.

Bringing your previous experience in a similar role, you will manage large APAC wide projects and cyclical activities. With Bupa APAC employing more than 20,000 people, this is a real opportunity for you to make an impact and contribute to the ongoing success of our People team.

How will I help?

  • Lead the delivery of recommendations and solutions covering specific areas of Remuneration and Benefits, including salary planning, market analysis, job design, variable pay planning, benefit planning and vendor relationship management.
  • Contribute to the effective governance of the global job family framework, acting as the key liaison to the People Team on job evaluation.
  • Conduct job sizing activities across the business using a variety of job sizing methodologies as appropriate.
  • Assist in growing businesses capability in job sizing via training, development, coaching and guidance interventions.
  • Manage annual salary survey data contributions / reporting requirements of identified survey partners and effectively navigate these databases to deliver high quality, accurate, annual and ad-hoc external benchmarking to the business.
  • Providing interpretation and counsel to Line Management regarding Performance, Reward and Benefits policies, programs and practices.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new Reward and Benefits policies, practices and programs to meet organisational and Line Management needs.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Performance & Reward and the Global Performance & Reward team on all operational aspects associated with the delivery of the annual cyclical bonus and remuneration review.
  • Contribute to the design, UAT, implementation and delivery of performance capability / functionality and reporting aspects of Workday that are related to delivering the various rollout phases and subsequent biannual releases of Workday.
  • Mentor, coach and develop a small team
  • Manage the Compensation Partner activities of the business within Workday.

What do I need?

  • Extensive experience working within Performance and Reward
  • Superior analytical skills, and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experience administering HRIS systems. Workday experience highly desirable.
  • Reporting experience within in a large and complex organisation
  • Proven systems, process and reporting capability in a matrix organisational setting
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and service provision skills
  • Excellent data collection skills, and proven ability to convert information and data into knowledge, and to communicate that knowledge in a meaningful and useful way/s
  • Ability to manage and prioritise competing demands in a client focussed and outcomes centred manner
  • Proven ability to perform and deliver often under tight time constraints
