(12 months)

Start your dental career with the right support around you.

Our Graduate Dentist Program is designed to help you transition from university into confident, independent practice.

You’ll work across a national network of 170+ clinics, gaining hands-on experience, tailored learning, and one-on-one mentorship from experienced clinicians.

Flexible pathways to suit your career
Choose a 6- or 12-month program, depending on how you want to start.

  • 6-month option: Begin as a Bupa-employed clinician, building your skills with structured support. After 6 months, you can choose to transition into independent practice from a Bupa clinic — with ongoing support, facilities, and management services behind you.

  • 12-month option: Continue as an employed Dentist, developing your clinical capability further while strengthening your communication, business, and leadership skills.

Step into full scope practice from day one.

Our Graduate Oral Health Therapist (OHT) Program is designed for new graduates in oral health therapy, dental hygiene, or dental therapy who want to build confidence and capability quickly.

You’ll work 30–38 hours per week across one or two Bupa clinics, delivering care in a real-world setting — supported by experienced OHTs and a dedicated Clinical Educator.

Structured learning and real experience
Throughout the program, you’ll:

  • Practise across your full clinical scope
  • Focus on prevention, restorative care, and oral health promotion
  • Gain exposure to orthodontics
  • Build confidence through mentoring and ongoing support

By the end of the program, you’ll be equipped to work independently and make a meaningful impact in your community.
